MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT CLAIMS LIFE |
A motor vehicle accident at 5th Avenue and 6th Street claims the life of Eugene Mays, age 76, of Haleyville driving a suburban. Services for Mr. Mays are being handled by Pinkard Funeral Home. Involved in the accident was Danny Ray Green, age 42 of Eldridge, Alabama driving a blue Ford Ranger pickup. |

Danny Ray Green Charged and Arrested in the September 10 Accident Involving Eugene Mays
Thursday, September 18
Danny Ray Green, age 42 of 38467 Highway 78, Eldridge, Alabama was charged and arrested by the Haleyville Police Department today on one count of manslaughter and one count of vehicular homicide. Bond was set at $50,000 for each count. Green is currently awaiting transfer to the Winston County Jail. |
